My dad lost his hearing and ability to speak when he was about 5 years old. Since then any device for hearing couldn’t help because he was totally deaf, and he only knew how to pronounce the words he heard until he was 5 years old. Life was very hard for him in that context, and it was very hard for him in both work opportunities and love life as well. Today he is fine, he didn’t learn sign language before because he was very stubborn but the way he communicates today is through reading lips. He’s not speaking as a regular person because he doesn’t know how to pronounce majority of words because he never heard them and he only says them by “feeling”.
I hope your dad is well, his eyes and the way he stares at the photo, i almost feel he tells me the story of his life, he looks like a very kind and transparent person.
What color would you say his hair is there, because that’s exactly the color of my hair, and I’m not sure how to describe it. It’s like brown/blond with a hint of red. Is there one word for that?
