Update on my first time doing press on nails (I

This is a picture they I took 11 hours ago after filing them and smoothing the corners to make them look less bulky

I took them off this morning for different reasons (mostly because I don’t wanna be judged by my strict parents)

  1. They look 10x better! You should try the kiss acrylic nude press ons, they are so good and natural looking. They’re not thin and flimsy and stay on really well

  2. Ps: I never had my nails done because I bite my nails and I’m ashamed of showing them. So I don’t really know what I’m doing (I only watched some videos on yt)

Also I come from a really strict family that doesn’t let me go to a nail tech since they think that girls with their nails done are “”st*pid””

Sorry for all the mistakes with my English! I’m not native speaker, it’s my second language 😭🙏🏼

  3. Much better job! Keep practicing.I personally find the Olive and June brand to be amazing. Perfect sizing, and they have glue or tab options. The styles and shapes to choose from are amazing and at 10 bucks a set, it’s worth it.

  4. If your parents are against getting your nails done, it might be because of the stereotypical long, over the top claws. Maybe you’d be able to change their mind by getting something neutral and classy, while otherwise being on your best behaviour.
I don’t know how strict your strict parents really are, but maybe you could try and have a conversation about you wanting to get your nails done, not out of vanity but to preserve the health of your nails and nail beds, good luck!

  5. Nice job! I also pick at my nails and cuticles real bad, recently started doing my nails again because it helps a lot with that. Not 100% but a big improvement.

  6. The only part I don’t like is the shape, they look wide at the tips, but you put them on just fine, so I wouldn’t worry about that much!

  7. Fellow nail biter here. It’s hard!!! I also don’t want to spend ever other week at a nail salon and can’t afford the prices.
