I’m sure it was loud, but fidelity definitely suffered from all kinds of audio no-nos. E.g.: stuff stacked on the speaker cabinets, those poorly shielded little speaker wires draped everywhere, speakers not separated enough from one another, etc. But some dudes just wanna rock out and like those low frequencies buzzing though their chest cavities and Dr Pepper cans, and rattling the furniture.

I own the same pair of floor standing speakers for about 15 years and I love them.
