  1. Looks like a Army soldier, probably in New Guinea or Bougainville or some other forsaken hell hole full of swamps malarial mosquitos crocodiles and Japanese troops. My respects to him.

    He wouldn’t be flashing his captain bars like that in combat I wouldn’t think.
