So disturbing for her own fraud she lived by, but to piggy back on the grief and horror of a country makes any sympathy and compassion go away for this person.
I watched the documentary on her and so many survivors would talk with her about their grief and either A) felt like they needed to tone it down cause she “lost her fiancé/was on a top floor/arm hanging by a thread” or B) got TOLD how much worse off she was. Also found out she told everyone she had a dog and this woman who visited a bunch of times would always ask where it was and it was “out getting walked” and after time 5 she admitted there was never a dog
This woman was so bonkers. Can you imagine this happening today? Truly a uniquely post-9/11, pre-social media occurrence.
