The cool thing about this for me (I know I know) is that it’s a 50 y/o pic that looks like it was taken yesterday. Older imaging tech (grainy, black and white, etc) has a distancing effect that is certainly cool in, well, conveying the passage of time, but at the same time the distancing effect can divorce the past from the present.
*Fundamentally*, people 50, 100, 500, 1000, 5000 (and more!) years removed were just like us.
Just a quick search and fact of her. She was scheduled to get on Flight 191 but felt uneasy about that plane. That plane later crashed minutes after take off killing everyone on board.

That’s how I knew I was straight.
We moored our boat across from hers in the early 80’s. She and her husband at the time, Henry Kingi, were both so nice and friendly.
