  2. He got in trouble for being into young girls, so some guys started a group in support of him known as the American Boys Club in Defense of Errol Flynn, or ABCDEF

  3. There’s no question he was a stunning man but his life was less so.

Shopping clerk in Sydney, plantation overseer & gold miner in Papau New Guinea, Movie Star, alcoholic & total reprobate.

The truly distasteful side that most don’t know about is he was charged with the statutory rape of 2 teenaged girls in 1942 but the legal maneuverings of his attorney got him out of it.

By the time he succumbed to a heart attack in 1959, his career was all but over. Flynn reportedly died in the arms of his girlfriend Beverly Aadland, who he began dating when she was just 15 with her mother’s knowledge. He was married to his last wife Patrice Wymore at the time.
