They were great. Not too low like the more common type these days. I’d love to be able to get a pair now. Also they didn’t sink into the sand on a beach.
We had these in the 80s. Then by the late 80s/early 90s the plastic weave was broken, so my mom took the frames and macrame’d the hell out of them. My parents still use them to this day!
Who also remembers their arse going right through the seat at some point? 🙂
Much comfortable than today’s chairs
Still have one
I remember them from the 60’s and I still use them today. They have come back in style: everything old is new again.
My grandpa still has his; I used it not too long ago in our backyard! It’s pretty comfy lol

Hell yes, aren’t they around anymore?
I’ve got a couple I saved from the dumpster, and new webbing to fix them…
I’m looking for one.
The giant scar on my right thigh remembers.
I found 2 of these chairs recently that my mother replaced the plastic webbing with yarn. Shredded probably did this in the early 80s
Chair was *not* for use by people with leg hair or sitting in nude, if that’s your thang!
