The more I find out about what happened, the more I realise that there is a beauty in what Tarantino tried to do by showing what could have been. That he took something so infamous for being tragic and crafted her a happy ending, even if we all know it’s not how the story ended. It made me genuinely wish for a better world. Not many films these days can do that without coming off as trite.

A most horrible and terrible tragedy of what happened to her and the others by the hands of Charles Manson and his followers.
