After seeing *Romulus*, I’ve been going through all of the canon films in release order and having a great time. I’d only seen 1&2 before I saw Romulus. The first two are the only “masterpieces” of the franchise, but each one is fun and unique in its own way, even with their flaws. I’m currently watching *Alien: Covenant* as I type this and it’s pretty fun so far. I’m now definitely looking forward more than ever to Noah Hawley’s series *Alien: Earth* coming to Hulu via FX…eventually.

I was too young to see it when it came out, only 13 at the time. I just remember hearing it was terrifying, and tht the poster for it creeped me out. That grid of bodies under the egg and ‘In space no one can hear you scream’. I had no idea what the movie was about for a few years so my imagination run a bit wild with what it might be about.
As a kid my neighbor had Alien on laserdisc which unlike tape had more of a live rewind. We would watch the pop-out-of-your-seat moments back and forth over and over again!
Love the one dude grinning in back

Famously the actors on set didn’t know all about the chestburster, their reactions on film are genuine.
He ate Spaghetti. It’s haunted me all these years.
I watched my first horror movie as a kid at the cinema with about the same emotions

Dudes are thinking hell yeah bring it on!
Exactly the reaction the producer/director was going for
My dude on the right wishing he could be in the movie and just start blasting.
In a dark movie theatre, no one can see you scream.

The guy on the right trying to hold it together is my fav.
Why are they sitting so close together?
A lot of sheltered people back then.
Check out Peter Griffin on the right
The stoic, non emotional man in the front lol. Looks like stephen king. He seems to have seen alien chest bursts before. No big deal
