  1. This is inaccurate. Those are all prayer plant varieties (or fairly closely related to) and they are known for a lot of leaf movement. Most plants do not move this much throughout the day, although they do move to varying degrees and some parts of plants even more (like vines).

  2. What latitude do you live in? It looks like there is sunlight around 3 o’clock (pm? am?) Then again around 7 o’clock, 16 hours later…

  3. These all look like prayer plants, which move a lot more than most plants. A cool video but not really representative of plants in general.

  4. This is the most impressive collection of calatheas I’ve ever seen. Anyone that’s had one knows how hard they are to keep alive.

  5. I have a screened in patio.

I put a plant close to the screen and then a few days later it had busted through the screen and was sticking out. I was questioning how you’re supposed to scold a plant.

  6. Imagine the difference of spatial scales and how it affects perspective of the environment. The difference between an ant vs an elephant. Now do the same thing for time scales. Plants live in a much larger time scale than we do and so everything appears to move much much slower
